Rosabel Tao is an accomplished corporate communications strategist with more than two decades of experience on both the client and agency sides and has worked with a broad portfolio of companies in a full range of growth stages – from global brands to start-ups. Drawing from a diverse background in consumers and business-to-business communications, technology PR, crisis management,litigation communications, employee communications, cause marketing, public affairs and community relations, Rosabel is an expert in creating integrated, multi-disciplinary communications programs and building communications organizations from the ground up.
Most recently, Rosabel served as the interim head of communications for both the San Francisco Chronicle and PopSugar. Prior to that, she held the position of senior vice president of Corporate Communications for CBS Interactive and its portfolio of over 25 brands that span news, entertainment, technology, music, sports and games. She was also the senior vice president of Corporate Communications for MySpace and Myspace Music, where she lead all external and internal communications strategies and messaging globally. While at Myspace, she completely overhauled its positioning, engineered one of the most highly anticipated and significant re-launches of an Internet brand and handled communications for News Corp’s subsequent sale of the company.
