Kate is a seasoned marketing and management consultant at Cunningham Collective. In her role as engagement manager, Kate leads positioning, branding and go-to-market engagements with forward-thinking enterprise software and services companies.
Kate excels at uncovering insights from research, including quantitative and qualitative data, and piecing together information to form unique, logical and well-framed strategies, stories and campaigns. Her inherent curiosity enables her to become an expert on new clients, industries and challenges quickly and with ease. With a sharp eye, keen focus and the ability to multi-task, Kate prides herself on her project management, organization and detail orientation skills.
Prior to Cunningham Collective, Kate managed communications and marketing campaigns for public relations firms such as Burson-Marsteller and BrewPR. At Burson-Marsteller, Kate led public relations efforts for four segments of Hewlett-Packard’s World Wide Enterprise Business and supported several consumer accounts, including Sony Ericsson, Ford Motor Company and Alitalia Airlines. At BrewPR, Kate focused exclusively on enterprise technology startups, including Bluefin Labs, Manilla and Netsuite. Her tactical prowess creating press releases, executive bylines, corporate messaging statements and global media campaigns helped secure coverage for her clients in leading media outlets, such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, TechCrunch and CNBC.
Kate was recently a mentor at TechStars NYC, where she advised early-stage technology companies on their marketing, business development and communications strategies.
Kate has a joint-MBA degree, with a concentration in Marketing Strategy, from NYU Stern School of Business and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
