Before that, Ryan worked in communication and public relations with larger firms including Union Bank, where he assisted in developing the company’s corporate social responsibility program, and Abernathy MacGregor, where he conducted industry research and helped produce investor relations reports. He has managed and overseen political operations for Rodriguez Strategies and the successful “MB Breathe Free” campaign.
Ryan graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Political Science and an emphasis in Democracy and International Affairs. He is deeply involved in the nonprofit sector, and works with JDRF (the leading global organization funding Type 1 Diabetes research) to help the Type 1 Diabetic community fund research and advocate for government support.
