Lee has spent the past 20 years assisting organizations to build their brands, increase market opportunities and maximize valuations through various functions of marketing, communications, product management, user experience, customer engagement, business development and corporate strategy. At Cunningham Collective, Lee leads the Marketing-as-a-Service practice. Operating as an interim marketing leader, he helps companies develop their marketing strategy and manage their go-to-market execution in order to build brand awareness, acquire customers and achieve their core business objective.
Prior to Cunningham Collective Lee was the Vice President of Marketing and User Experience at Deem, reporting to the CEO and part of the executive team. He led the rebranding of Deem from Rearden Commerce which drove the company’s $1.35 billion valuation. Lee departed Deem to found, develop and launch Wishfinity, a wish-granting mobile application and associated marketplace.
Before Deem, Lee founded and operated an award-winning marketing agency responsible for leading integrated campaigns for numerous consumer brands such as 24-Hour Fitness, Chevrolet, HP, Kaiser Permanente, Logitech, SanDisk, Toshiba, United Airlines, Walmart, and Whirlpool.
Prior to that, Lee provided Creative Direction for renowned advertising agencies providing tech marketing for AT&T, Comcast, Lucent, NetApp, NEC, Silicon Valley Bank, Sun Microsystems, and Synopsys. He began his career while still at Iowa State University providing Art Direction for Meredith Corporation.
